Can You Just Decide to Have A Rich Life?

Yes. Yes, indeed you can just wake up one morning and have a rich life.

And let me tell you, it was the best decision I ever made.

Here’s why:

My rich life includes so many things. Yes, money is definitely one of them as it’s necessary in order to live on this planet at this time. But so is being rich in joy, rich in health, rich in deeply fulfilling relationships, rich in inspiration, and rich in the motivation to bring that inspiration to full bloom.

When you decide to be who you want to be, something changes. Your whole identity shifts with that decision, in that instant, and the universe starts gathering resources on your behalf. Your focused attention on the essence of your desire begins reshaping your entire trajectory.

While it may seem like a big bite of a bologna sandwich, I’ve seen it happen first hand.

And, well, to be honest, I’ve been doing a little experiment myself.

Remember, I’m the “words matter” girl. What you say and think has a massive influence over how you feel and act.

Every moment of every day, you have a choice. You get to choose who you are. You either unconsciously choose the same things over and over out of automatic response, or you choose to question everything because you know you’re not being who you truly want to be.

For instance, what does the rich version of me do when they see a hefty price tag for something?

Since I’m not fully sure yet, other than not cringing at the number, she most likely asks herself, “How badly do I truly want this? How much joy does it bring me? What needs to go for this to come in, and am I willing to pay that price?”

Each time I hear myself say something to the effect of “I can’t afford that”, I question it. I notice that it’s an automatic reaction due to feeling a certain way about money for so long. There’s been a lot to unravel, but getting down to my core beliefs gives me great insight.

Simply from life experience, we create limitations for ourselves. Those boundaries keep us safe, but small. Within the perimeters we can predict the outcome, which in many cases with money is, “I don’t have enough”. This becomes our lifelong belief, and what we believe we see as reality.

What we have to do to move past this is create a new capacity to hold our desires. If we don’t feel safe with what we want, there’s no possible way to receive it. And if it does come in, it’s gone just as quickly.

Anchoring the feelings of safety within something new is how we expand our ability to receive. And it’s uncomfortable AF. It forces us to sit with what we’ve been afraid to face. And that’s exactly what it takes to push those limitations and create receptivity.

This decision, to have a rich life, has led me to question other decisions I’ve been making. It’s like one day I woke up and just decided to be someone new. (And… that’s actually what happened on the morning of the eclipse, Friday, August 28th).

I looked at some of the things I was doing, even just last week, and I’ve stopped doing them. And it was fairly easy. I can look at something and say, “No, that’s not for me anymore”. Even when I fell back into an old pattern, I was able to stop myself and release the need to hold that attachment. The rich me doesn’t carry those old needs for validation anymore because I am rich in confidence and security of who I am.

And that, right there, is the key.

A confident decision and the safety within the self to trust that once you decide, everything will shift to your favor, so long as your decision doesn’t waver.

Trust me, if you want it badly enough, you’ll do whatever it takes to achieve it. Tenacity like that is what begets blow-your-mind results. It targets your resistance and opens you up to all the possibilities the universe has in store for your success.
