Growth is Hard but A Necessary Part of the Journey.

Sometimes doing the right thing is hard. Walking away from something or someone you love is gut-wrenchingly painful. It leaves you shattered in ways you think will never be rebuilt.

But, it always leads to growth.

And growth is uncomfortable. (If it wasn’t, everyone would be doing it.)

Growth requires friction. It requires you to be someone you don’t know yet. It forces you to trust yourself and the universe, and know that everything will unfold as it should.

I’ve had a lot of Tower Card moments this year which have allowed me to uncover and rediscover many things about myself I didn’t know were there. As hard and as painful as it was (and still is) to face some of these truths, looking them in the face has led to me leaving behind a life (and a version of me) I outgrew a long time ago.

These things are difficult, but necessary if we are to evolve within our conscious awakening. If we are to become who we are meant to be, everything that is not aligned is stripped away in periods of deep growth and rebirth.

And with that comes a grieving for the old self.

It hurts, it sucks, and you let yourself die only to be reborn, transformed like the caterpillar to the butterfly.

Sometimes we have to make decisions to leave behind something we deemed “good” if we are to grow.

When we settle for good, even though we know it’s not great, we are denying our soul’s true calling. We stunt our growth because we would rather remain comfortable within what’s “ok” or “enough”, yet isn’t truly satisfying our heart’s desires, than step into the unknown to fulfill the dream.

You can’t take your old self into the new chapter and expect anything to change.

You have to make the hard decisions to leave behind what’s hindering your movement. You’ve got to leave behind old ideas, old beliefs about who you are and the world you experience, and the old environment you built around who you were.

Rewrite the story.

Let yourself experience the sacred gap between who you were and who you are becoming.

Sit with the cognitive dissonance as you work through your transformation. Allow time and space for the integration process to happen. Trust the moment because this is where your power is.

Embrace the growth that’s available right now as you plant your seeds of intention for the upcoming months. Set your roots in the soil now, trusting that you will be nurtured and that each day you will emerge closer to the truth of who you are.

Katie helped me at a very low point in my life. Everything had been out of balance,
my mind , body & spirit. I had been thru many changes recently, some that I needed and several that I would have done anything to avoid !
I was the “worrier” and the “what if” person. Sometimes I still catch myself !
Katie taught me to give myself Grace and I also give myself Space to do it.
She taught me how to “Re-Write “my thoughts and how to say them such as
    “I AM …. ” instead of “I will….”
Thank you Katie ~ You are a light in the tunnel 🙂 Peace & Love
