Sun enters Sagittarius
Out of the darkness and into the light…
We’ve spent Scorpio season digging through the trenches of our own darkness as we continue on our cosmic quest as the sun transits the sign of Sagittarius: the sign of Truth.
It is important to keep in mind we are moving from the Sun being in an intensely deep emotional water sign into a fiery blunt adventurous sign.
We continue our journey of what we uncovered during Scorpio’s copious amounts of shadow work uncovering the skeletons in our closet and bringing them to light..
Sagittarius the seeker of wisdom will help us grow during this season. As Jupiter Sagittarius’ ruler is currently retrograde in the sign of Cancer we will continue to find our own emotional truths.
This is where things get interesting. The adventure is an inward experience meaning this growth is happening on an internal level.
Wow, talk about the burn of growing pains happening through this emotional alchemical process.
The price we pay for freedom is burning away the old to tap into the energy of FIRE. Remember, fire signs burn with passion.
We are being called to take a leap of faith and dive into our OWN emotional truth. Stripping away the layers of conditioning of what we were taught in our home life through our family system.
Is the way you were raised and taught still what you believe? Or is there a deeper truth you haven’t explored yet due to fear or shame because it sets you apart from what you’ve known from your familial roots?
What BELIEFS need to change so we can come into our own TRUTH and follow our passion? It is important to remember as Katie likes to remind us that beliefs are just thoughts we think over and over. We can always change our thoughts which then we are able to make changes around beliefs that support us on a path we are more aligned with.
Sagittarius is BIG picture thinking and knows if there is no risk there is no reward.
The real question Sagittarius asks us during this time is What is my PURPOSE? What is my role in this grand cosmic quest?

On the same day the sun transits into Sagittarius there is a grand water trine between Mercury in Scorpio, Saturn in Pisces, and Jupiter in Cancer this is an opportunity for deep emotional transformation as Mercury is reflective in his retrograde energy of how to transmute the emotional energy while Saturn provides the structure and groundwork of what needs to change to build the structure into the new version of self. During this transit illusions dissolve and the truth around what’s been avoided are named to cultivate sharper boundaries allowing growth and building emotional intelligence.

This is a subtle yet empowering timeline shift. The Sun in Sagittarius invites you to step into your truth but ONLY after you shed the layers that can’t come with the new YOU. Sagittarius energy is about seeing the BIG picture; it is our cosmic quest. As Sagittarius is the sign of wisdom he knows that not everybody/thing/ etc can/will ascend with you.
