Manifesting your best life is actually easier than you think. It just takes some conscious noticing of how your words are affecting your reality.
Words matter. What you say has more impact than you think. You speak your life into existence, so words matter. If you tweak the way you speak, you have the ability to manifest a life you love living.
The key to consciously using your words to manifest your best life is to be cognizant of what goes through your mind and out your mouth on a regular basis. Catch yourself when you are speaking out of alignment to stop the destruction in its tracks. This allows for change to take place.
Once you are able to catch yourself, then you can “tweak your speak” to start up a constructive process. Bring yourself back to center, regroup, and then respond to what life is giving you to experience. It’s not hard to do, it just takes consistent practice.
Here are five ways to tweak your speak so that you are in alignment with manifesting exactly what you want in life.
Speak in alignment with your desires
In order to manifest what you desire in life, your words have to be in alignment with your desire. You can’t go around saying you want the million dollars if deep down inside you think rich people suck. There has to be congruence.
Take a look at how you speak when it comes to your desires and your ability to accomplish them. Are you telling yourself that it’s impossible or that there’s no way someone like you could do something like this? Do you make excuses as to why you can’t have what you want? Is everything working against you, keeping you from succeeding?
Words, thoughts, and feelings that reflect this mentality keep you in your old loop cycles and patterns. You will keep repeating the same old stories and reliving the same old experiences unless you change the way you speak about things.
We literally speak our reality into existence, so if we are using words that are destructive and disempowering, we can’t have the amazing opportunities we so crave.
Speak towards what you want. Act like it’s already here for you. It might sound silly, but pretending like your new life is already here is the fastest way to actualize it. Speak like it’s already happened. Say things like “Thank you so much for bringing me (this thing I want) at the exact time that I need it”. Or something to the effect of “I am so happy and grateful now that I have (blank)”.
When you “tweak your speak” to be in alignment with your desires, you put yourself on the same vibrational frequency of what you want. The more you speak in positive, constructive terms, the faster your manifestations will come to fruition.
You’ve got to keep your words aligned and not fall back into your old patterns of crappy thinking.
Find the resistance and clear it so you have the space to create
Effortless manifestation occurs where there is no resistance. It’s much easier to manifest a cold than money because there’s a socially accepted norm about catching a cold.
Think of how you speak about it. Words matter. “Cold season”, “flu season”, “don’t go outside with wet hair, you’ll catch a cold”, “I think I’m coming down with something”. All of these statements have no resistance as catching a cold is a “normal, common, and accepted” thing for people to do.
But when it comes to money, for example, we say things like “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “money comes from hard work”, “some people have it, some people don’t”. These types of statements close off all availability to receive.
Try this exercise. Think of your biggest dream that you want to accomplish in life. Let it fill your mind for a moment. How does it feel? Does it feel open and exciting with opportunities abound and a willingness to follow the inspiration wherever it goes?
Or, does it feel constricted and like you’d have to do all these things in order to make any kind of progress, your logical mind telling you how hard the path to success will be?
If you feel any sort of tension, restriction, constriction of the body or mind, tightness, and other sensations that don’t quite feel like excitement or joy, well, you’re dealing with resistance. And where there is resistance there are no manifestations that are aligned with your desires.
When you find the resistance, just be with it. Explore it. Clear it out of the body and the mind by journaling, moving your body, meditating, practicing energy healing, or somatic breathwork. The key is to dissolve any blocks so you have a clear path to your desire.

Use constructive words
Once you are aware of how you’re currently speaking about yourself, your experience, and have met your resistance, you can now start building a solid foundation.
The words you choose to use on the regular form the basis of your reality. Most of the time we are completely unconscious of our choice of words. Quite often we just open our mouth and out they spew, without us even truly knowing what we’re saying, let alone fully resonating with it.
By consciously using constructive words, you are building up a strong base, founded on your truth. If your words are destructive your foundation will crumble and be unstable from the start. Manifesting your best life requires you to speak it into existence, which must come from a place of alignment.
Start speaking in a way that builds you up. It might feel awkward at first, but you’ve got to make conscious choices about the way you speak. Words that support your vision need to be used consistently to construct that solid foundation.
Think of each word or phrase you use, and every thought you have, as bricks of your foundation. If you build with openness and willingness, with a commitment to yourself, you will strengthen every brick. However, one destructive brick in the foundation leads to instability. So for example if you’re building wealth but still believe it’s “only for them and not for you”, your foundation won’t be strong enough to hold your desire.
Allow yourself to use words that resonate deeply with you. Ones that make you feel that “bone buzz” where you feel them to be so true you can feel it in your bones. These are the constructive words that will stick, acting like the glue holding your foundation together.
Eliminate words that don’t matter and keep you stuck
Words like “if, then, when, and but” literally cut off any possible energy available to assist you. So stop using them. Again, going back to being keenly aware of your speech is how you will untangle yourself.
When we speak and argue for our limitations, we remain stuck. This is because we are constantly reinforcing our old stories, telling our body to remember them, and perpetuating the timeline.
Continually speaking words that keep you stuck, like reminding yourself all the time that you “can’t afford it” will keep you in the energy of not being able to afford it. The more you reinforce the story, the more your reality will reflect it.
So by repeating how “you don’t know how to do it”, “it will never change”, “you’re not smart enough”, or “I’m so overwhelmed”, you are not helping construct anything new. You are keeping yourself in your loop cycle.
Being conscious of your thoughts and the words you say gives you the chance to make some changes, because as we know, words matter. Eliminating words and phrases that keep you in these old cycles creates space for something different, but you also have to be intentional about what you’re “putting back in”.
Rewrite your script to something more congruent
When we remove something from our energy or awareness, we need to “put something back in” otherwise we will revert back to our old patterns. Also, the universe is a vacuum, so something will be pulled in either way. Being conscious about our mental script is the holy grail of manifestation.
Becoming clear about what you want is the first step. You’ve got to know where you’re going if you’re actually going to get there. And this isn’t about anything material — this is all about feeling. Start with the end result of how you want to feel. Do you want peace? Security? Relief? Satisfaction? Name it and claim it.
Then, start talking like you are already the person who has the outcome. Rewrite your responses because, remember, words matter. You have to think, speak, feel, act, and believe it into reality. How would this version of you show up in the world? Imagine it. Feel it fully. Let yourself experience the possibilities.
You’ve got to get past your old stories and limitations. The more you speak about a past version of yourself, the more you keep it alive. You have to allow yourself to believe in the upgrades before they occur. Only then will you start to see physical changes in your reality. You can’t try to pull your old self in. You’ve got to trust and let go.
Start moving like your new self. Show up and let the world see you. Sure, it’s going to be challenging — you have to be someone you’ve never been before. And that’s ok. You can do it. When you truly believe that you can change, and when you want it that badly, mountains will move for you to bloom into being.
Progress Over Perfection
Making these types of changes in your life doesn’t always come easily. Don’t get discouraged, you’ve been conditioned for a lifetime to believe lies about yourself. It’s not your fault. It takes time to unlearn, so please be gentle with yourself as you navigate the process.
Allow yourself the time and space to understand yourself and experience the unwinding. Let yourself dream big about who you want to be and what you desire in your life. Make the time to spell it out for yourself (literally) and to tweak your speak so that your words are congruent and aligned with your desire.
Strive each day to be just a little more open and receptive to what you want. Find the resistance and blocks and rewrite them. Use constructive words and catch yourself as much as you can when you fall back into old patterns and habits. Discover what resonates and anchor it in.
Trust the process of transformation. One day you’ll look back and realize you are already living the life you once only dreamt of.
